Combination Boilers

A combination boiler is both a high-efficiency water heater and central heating boiler in a single compact unit. These boilers heat water directly from the mains so there is no need for cold water storage tanks within the loft or hot water cylinders to be installed that save space within your property.

As the water is directly from the mains it can increase the pressure of your hot water.

  • Cost effective and energy efficient
  • Compact size
  • No water tanks or cylinders needed
  • Less pipework
  • Can increase water pressure

System Boilers

System boilers require a cylinder to be installed for the hot water storage. These boilers are built with the major heating and hot water components in the boiler. system boilers are compatible with solar heating systems.

  • Ideal for homes with more than one bathroom
  • Constant supply of hot water to all taps at all time
  • Economical to run
  • No need for cold water storage tank in the loft

Regular Boilers

These boilers can be known as conventional or heat only boilers. They are recommended ideally for homes that already have heating and hot water systems which are linked to a separate hot water cylinder. Regular boilers need two cold water storage tanks one for supply the hot water cylinder and the other for the central heating system.

They are the perfect boiler for older homes with old radiators as they may not be able to handle the pressure increase of water that combination and system boilers provide.

  • Perfect for homes that use large amounts of hot water
  • Ideal for two or more bathrooms
  • Compatible with solar water heating systems

Magnetic Filter System

The latest product on the market to help increase the life of our boilers is the magnetic system filter. This has been specifically designed to combat the damaging effects of debris and sludge within the central heating system.

 How it works

The filter has a powerful magnet in the centre that removes all the metallic debris that can be found in the heating water. The position of the magnet ensures all the magnetic debris is collected quickly and retained. All the non-magnetic debris is caught by the twin action cyclonic trap.

  • Safeguards boiler against damage
  • Prevents blockages in radiators
  • High power magnet proven to capture up to 200g of magnetic debris
  • Twin action magnetic and non-magnetic filtration
  • Increase boiler guarantee

Chemical Power Flush

Over time, heating systems can develop dirty water that can damage boilers causing sludge to build up within pipes and radiators. Signs that you may need a Power Flush can be cold areas on radiators, noise from boilers and pumps and discoloured water when you bleed the radiators. It is also necessary to carry out a Power Flush when you are connecting a new boiler onto an old system so that the boiler isn’t damaged by the pollutants already in the system.

Powerflushing is a cleaning process that removes sludge and any other debris from the central heating system. The overall aim is to restore the full circulation of water.

How it works

A powerful high flow low pressure pumping unit will be connected to either the circulation pump on a regular boiler or the pump head on a combination or system boiler. When in use the system will be flushed through using high strength chemicals leaving an inhibitor to prevent the build up of further sludge.

  • Reduces energy bills
  • Restores temperatures of radiators
  • Reduces boiler noise
  • Increases efficiency
